I know… I was very lucky to get this in. I was at the start of a five shot sequence and I got the shooting star in the frame. I would normally be typical, that it out of focus and in the middle of the sequence. Plenty more life left, come with us soon!

haha, I wouldn’t go that far. Its was a technical shot to say the least, 5 frames captured at different focal positions, stitched together in Photoshop (which was the easy bit)... trying to get the shot to balance, working with a torch, was the hardest part. the foreground is lit side to side. I was so lucky to get the meteor on the first image, my usual luck would have it strike on the foreground shot…
Anyway, really glad you like it, its a true personal favourite, simply because it was so technical, and I could have gone for something far more straightforward, but I made myself work for it.
