Round One was over and done with last weekend, but Round Two is on its way, so brace yourselves.... Here is a shot of Longships Lighthouse in Cornwall getting a pounding from an Atlantic Storm. Some great fun had at the coast. The lighthouse stands at 115ft tall, but I have to say this is somewhat smaller than last years monumental 230ft explosions I witnessed on the cliffs. None the less, you have never heard me swear so much in the excitement. ![]() ![]() 1DsIII with a 300mm +2xII converter @ f11 for 1/1000th of a second (simply to stop camera shake in 60mph winds)

Stunning shot David - "1/1000th of a second simply to stop camera shake in 60mph winds" - I hope you secured yourself and kit to the headland.
The 230 ft waves last year must have been awe inspiring. Mike ...
It was a brilliant day, I got many other explosions but none were as photogenic as this. Many thanks Mike.
Awesome
